Ourintention was to stay the night and then head back to the Bay Area the next morning, but the sky was heavily overcast and about noon, an houror so after everyoneelseleft, it began to rain. The weather looked likeit hadsettled in for the day, so instead of waiting until tomorrow and packing wet gear, Carol and I organized everything, packed up, and were onthe road back to Baker by about 1 pm.
