The streamitself is shallow, not very wide (2-4 m at most, but typically 1-2 m orless), and low gradient, bubbling over streambed cobbles. A thick (horizontal and vertical) mat of sedges dominated both banks, with clumps of a carrot (Osmorhiza sp. ?), primrose, monkey flow, columbine, and geranium scattered within. Woody debris, including logs and spruce trunks, and both sapling and seeding Englemann spruce occur spotily along the stream edge as well. During spring snow melt, the stream would clearly be both wider and deeper, but there waslittle evidence of substantial disturbance along the bank during our Serepigpaaiinereecen eelaeiaemomoememen tecommaie oeee z Es at eg ee ag eatOLDE|Cree Ea : & * bi| - |
