Stimson, the complete text of which is published on the front page of this edition of the Recruiters Review) will be of great· assistance to you in convincing eligible women of the urgent need for them in the \Vomen's Army Corps. Every recruiter will organize these reasons into a cogent presentation to prospects. The generosity of the motion-picture industry, working with the \Var Activities Committee, in extending · "\Vac \Veek" an additional week through May 24, will add mariy thousands of splendid prospects to those which it has already secured. The attractive new folder showing how women college graduates can "put their degrees to work" for our country in the \Vomen's Army Corps will have reached you before this issue of the Recruiters Review. You will find it tremendously helpful in convincing these splendid young women that "their place in War" is in the WAC. Sponsored advertisements are beginning to appear in many types of media. Every effort is being expended to make it possible for you to devote a larger percentage of your time to interYiewing eligible prospects. You made a most commendable and gratifying increase during the second week in May over the number you enlisted the first week. · There were fifteen recruiting days remaining in May when the reports puhlished on this page were compiled. If each Service Command will achieve the same rate of increase for the remainder of May that was attained during the second week of this month, as compared to the first week, every one will substantially exceed its quota for the month. We are entirely confident that you will do it by a fine margin. Every woman you enlist in the Women's Army Corps multiplies the effectiveness of your service to our country. JOHN F. JOHNS, Lt.
