There are numerous datad documents of medieval origin, which» it is hoped» will see the light some day when a qualified papyrologist is recruited for the Center facuity» 4 Our Qur'anic collection of manuscripts has systematically been supplemented by many standard printed editions from Egypt, Turkey, Irán, Iraq and Morocco* Soma of these ara sumptuous productions which will occa* sionally form part of our rotating exhibits» Furthermore>we were the first academic institution in the United States to obtain complete sets of the Chanted Qurfan from the Higher Council of Islamic Affairs in Cairo.
