A row of tubercles in front of the posterior border of the scute and of the free tergites; a submedian pair on the 2nd and 3rd of the latter larger than the rest. Mandibles with basal segment longer than in A. rostrata; second segment with a few antero-interior spiniform tubercles. Palpi similar to those of A. rostrata, but shorter; spines much the same except that the external spines on the tibia are short, tubercular, and much shorter than the internal which are very strong; tibia granular below ; tarsus with four pairs of spines, the apical small. Coxa of 1st leg strongly spined, of 2nd tubercular internally, of 3rd with one tubercle near the middle line, of 2nd and 4th |
