Show Article VIII Duties of Officers Sec. 1. The duties of officers shall be such as and as are implied by their respective titles specified in these By-Laws. are Sec. 2. The President shall be the presiding officer of meetings of the Executive Committee, of the Board of Directors, and of all meetings of .the Federation. She shall appoint a Correspond ing Secretary, a Parliamentarian, and chairmen of Standing and Special committees (except the Committee on Nominations), subject to the appro val of the Executive Committee. She shall appoint special committees on Program, Transporation, Cre dentials, Elections, and General the annual convention, and such Arrangements for other com mittes as be necessary from time to special time. She shall be member ex-officio of all except the nominating committee. \committeetS, She shall cause to be sent to each club in the Federation the call for the annual convention, at least thirty prior to the convention. She shall report at days each convention all business transacted by the Executive Committee and by the Board of Dirctors since the last convention. Sec. 3. The First Vice-President shall the duties of the President in the absence perform of that officer. She shall be supervisor of the District Directors. and shall perform such other duties as the President may direct, and shall succeed her in office in the event the Presidency is vacated through death, resignation or other causes. Sec. 4. The Second Vice-President shall the duties of the President in the absence of perform both the President and the First Vice-President. She shall be supervisor of all Standing Committee Chairmen, and shall perform such other duties as the Presi dent may direct. Sec. 5.
