Miss Lenore Romer, President Utah ederation of' Bus Lne sa Professional Women's Clubs, Brigham City, Utah. and Dear Lenore:- At our State Board meeting held during the Convention in May, 1941, at the Hotel Ben Lomond, Ogden, Mrs. Maude Neeley Leaver, Chairman of the Legislative Committee, moved that the Legislative fund be placed in Defense Savings Bonds, as the fund would probably not be needed at the present time, and perhaps for a few years to come, which motion duly carried. I purchased two balance of about $149.1&. of first issued as the day of July, "F", in due 12 Years from that date and are numbered 1941, C1323F and C1324F, for $74.00 each and'of the par value of $100.00 each, from the Federal Reserve Bank of' San Francisco, San Francisco, California, in the name of the Utah Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs, an unincorporated association. We had a Defense Series The bonds arrive,d to-day, and I 'am writing you at this time to know your pleasure as to where these bonds shall be kept for safe keeping in trust, until maturity or until needed at some future time.
