Show THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION Organized August, 1930, in Geneva, Switzerland. Comprised federated clubs in 2:6 countries, but activity was materially interrupted during World War II. Dues: $5.00 per year for either clubs or indi vidual members. Dues are sent to the State Trea surer for remittance. Membership optional. THE STATE FEDERATION Organized in 192i in Salt Lake City, Utah. Constitution in this Handbook. Dues: $1.00 per plus National dues. year, THE NATIONAL PROGRAM The National Program Coordinatiori Committee receives suggestions from clubs and individual members as to topics and themes. A tentative program of National scope and interest is then submitted to the National Board fOT final consi deration. When approved, the program in detailed outline is published in the June issue of the IN DEPENDENT WOMAN. The program is flexible and may be adapted to the needs of individual 'clubs. DUTIES OF OFFICERS PRESIDENT: Ref. By-Laws, Art. VIII, Sec. 2. 1. She represents the State Federation at meet ings of the National Board and the National Fed eration biennial meetings, being a member of the National Board by virtue of her office. 2. She should be avaible at all times to visit any club at its request. When visiting a club, her traveling expenses are paid by the State Federation, but her entertainment should be paid for by the visited club. 2. She should be available at all times to visit any should represent the F'ederation at all meetings of other organizations, where such representation is an advantage to the Federation. 3 |
