Show • Try to find a volunteer in the area who could visit the site daily and immediately report any damage or vandalism as it occurs so it can be repaired quickly. Hopefully, activities such as repairing the adobe and repainting the woodwork should signal to people that the building is being cared for and is not a target for mindless vandalism. The adobe church in Grafton is valuable because of its long history and its present appeal as a tourist attraction in Washington County. The building deserves the attention necessary to maintain it for at least a few more generations to enjoy.
