Show The Board of Home Missions
Of the
Presbyterian Church in the United States of America
156 Fifth Avenue, New York

Dictated

February 2nd, 1905.

Mr. Geo. B. Sweazey,
Collegiate Institute,
Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dear Mr. Sweazey:-

Your letter of the 28th ult., giving some particulars as to the fire in the boys building, is at hand this morning. You will already have received my telegram which was sent to you on the 30th ult., reading as follows: "Write giving time and cause fire with cost to repair. Company name immaterial." I trust you may have gathered therefrom the authority to go on and make the repairs immediately.

All insurances of this kind are carried from this office under a schedule policy, hence it was not possible to give you the names of the companies, and in any event, I do not think it is necessary. Immediately upon filing our claim for loss it will be settled here without any question whatever. If, therefore, you will kindly get an estimate on the cost of repairs, and go on immediately with the reconstruction, we will settle the loss here. The proof of loss should cover the time and the cause, and the cost for repair. We are all to be congratulated, I am sure, that the calamity was no greater.

Yours very truly,

H.C. Olin
Treasurer.

|
