Y., $14.00 <br> From Washington, D.C., $10.00 <br> From the Shady Side Church, Pittsburg, Pa., I do not know how much, but thay have agreed to take one of the Salt Lake City teachers. I do not know whether that means $250.00 or $500.00. <br> In addition to the above, something has been received from Dr. John Hall's church; I have not heard how much. <br> In addition to the money raised for the teachers, I secured $272.00 from Harrisburg and $150.00 from York, Pa., for furnishing the Institute. Then I made pleas in two or three places in Pennsylvania which I think will bring some more for furnishing. <br> In addition I have raised $400.00 for General Eaton's salary. If I could have concentrated my whole time and attention on the teachers' salaries, I would have raised the whole amount. <br> The meetings which I was promised in Philadelphia have not yet materialized, and it is getting so late I doubt if they do. <br> The interest in the College is very great, and but for these exceptional times, we would have had $50,000 to commence work with this spring. We still hope that something may turn up. General Eaton is giving his whole time to it, and I am giving a much as I can save out of other work.
