Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about your hfe Well, this morning I was reading through a packet of letters and post cards fron1 n1y closest fnend and during the war she and another couple of girls went to California for-they onginall) were going to be gone for two weeks and I think they extended It and every day she was wnting home. She thought she'd died and gone to heaven, so Inany servtceinen there. Every place they went. You should read son1e of this. "This IS Long Beach, June 14,1943 Sunday at five o' clock. Dear Dot, Boy, are we malong the rounds. Fnday, sailors, yesterday afternoon, Coast Guards, danced With the Mannes last night; can1e home with Au Cadets, church today with Naval cadets.
