TAPE N0.198. BECKY: This IS an Interview with Dorothy J Beutler Today's date IS March 26, 2001 This IS part of the Saving the Legacy proJect. My nmne Is Becky Lloyd and this Interview IS taking place In Dorothy's hon1e In West Valley City, Utah. Dorothy, when and where were you born? DOROTHY: Salt Lake City, Utah, on Noveinber 30, 1924 BBL: You were born In a hospital here? DOR: It turned out to be the Salt Lake County Hospital, that's where the doctor that delivered me worked out of. BBL: The Salt Lake County Hospital. That was the one that- DOR: Twenty-first South and State Street, was It? BBL: That's now the County offices, the Salt Lake County office complex there. You were born In that hospital. And who was your doctor? DOR: Dr Ray T Woolsey And he went on to dehver Iny seven children with the help of his son, Dr Carl-probably T -Woolsey, did the night work on the last couple. BBL: Where were you In the family? What child were you? DOR: Actually I was the middle for a few years. My folks had the three of us a brother, and tne and a sister, and then nine years later another gtrl and nine years later another gul. BBL: So you were the second born. |
