Sec.* <br><br> 1136 Blaine Ave, Dec. 30th, 1903. <br><br> My dear Dr. Jackson: <br> I'm glad to write you that the workmen are through excavating and are putting in the concrete foundation for the walls of the beautiful College Chapel. On looking the matter over still further, since writing you a few days ago, I think this is the best solution of the problem in regard to the College books: Put them in the dry and well-lighted basement under the Chapel. There will be shelf-room to accommodate them all, so that they can be utilized, The only expense will be the shelving. To put on** windows, would be to make an unsightly structure, which wd prevent the books from being utilized.
