Sweazey,
Salt Lake City, Utah.

My dear Mr. Sweazey:-

Your very welcome letter of the 6th inst., announcing the conversion of a number of young pupils, received. We are delighted, always, when we have a statement of such results in connection with any of our schools. More particularly are we pleased when the word comes from Utah, where you labor under such adverse and trying conditions.

I am wondering if it would not be desirable to have the converts unite with the church in Salt Lake City, and then be transferred by letter. Of course, it would be very pleasant to have them unite with their own home churches, but sometimes by a little delay they become unsettled and fail to make a profession when they reach home. However, we shall be content to leave this matter with you and the pupils themselves.

Very sincerely yours,

Geo. F. McAfee

|
