Show New York <br> 13 March 1896 <br><br> My dear Dr Jackson <br> Mr. Ogden gave me a letter to Mr. Judkin - the father. I called as soon as possible but it was too late, but I saw the son, who has been in Washington to place the loans. I told him the story and you are to hear from his father. They may not have the money on hand <br> Mr. Ogden said some would object to loaning on a part of the building. <br> Thinking to turn to another chance I called on my old friend Sam T.* R. Shipley, whose Life and Trust has 84 millions in the case. He took me to their Trust officer, marked on the within, Mr. Foulke said their Board did not loan on a part of a building.
