Show -«- the program at 10:00 a.m. with his presentation on "Grantsmanship: A Practical Approach for Libraries". Dr. Partridge and his assistant, Mrs. Nina Nichols, indicated those printed sources used for determining where grant monies may be sought, pitfalls to be avoided, and basic formating. A question and answer period concluded the program. The afternoon session included a demonstration by Miss Janet Fisher, Reference Librarian, Eccles Medical Sciences Library, of the "Medline" equipment. Two calls were placed to the computer in Bethesda, Maryland, requesting information from its data bank. The call was completed in seconds by contacting the nearest node of the system in California. Mr. Kenneth Luker, Systems Analyst at the Marriott Library, followed Miss Fisher and described the automated system now in use in the Marriott Library's Acquisitions Department.
