Show an aore. Under the Act of June 21, 1906, the cost of operating must be equitably apportioned to the lando irrigated, but not until"said irrigation systems are in successful operation." The cost of operating has not yet been apportioned, but every dollar that has been expended for maintenance has been charged to construction, and with the construction work practically completed, Congress has appropriated for the fiscal year of 1913, §75,000.00 to be reimbursable to the United States from the funds derived from the sale of the oeded lands, "for continuing the construction of lateral distributing systems to irrigate the allotted lands of the Uncompahgre, Uintah and Thite River Utes, in Utahv and to maintain existing irrigation systems, authorized under the Act of June 21, 1906. The Act of .april 4, 1910, appropriates $5000.00 for straightening the Duchesne driver within the limits of the townslte of Theodore, "to be reimbursed to the United States out of the proceeds of the sale of lands within the ceded Uintah Indian Reservation, including the sale of lots within the townsite of Theodore."
