Show - 18- PD; down sometimes. Sometimes I want to go back and I always dream about my old times of wandering, roaming, walking and horseback riding and all the free times I had at home, you know, seeing lots of animals and whatever I used to know, a lot of plants, I miss all that but sometimes I always think that I'm tied down, you knox- y. O'N: Um hum. PD: So that's what makes me think I x- yant to go again to go and you know, sometimes I think back that I'm getting old now, I shouldn't be thinking like that. But that time will never come again, that's what I think. It seems like everything's changing every year, so that's what my son and daughter say, you know, cause time is changing every year and all that and we have to be with the time that's moving. That's xviiat they say to me and I listen to them and I should make myself be with that time that's what I always think. O'N: But you miss the old? PD: But I miss~- I still do. I still want to go back but I . . . O'N: Did you think of Allen Canyon and Mancos Canyen of being alike, very much the same? PD: They were very much the same. But, over there, I used to get our water from the stream x- yhere the cliff dwellers used to get their waters, way deep down in the canyon where there's no road and rocky places like this and the cliff dwellers used to make letters out of the rocks and they kind of make a hole xtfhere they used to hold on to carrying waters up there. O'N: Um hum. PD: And I miss that old place. I used to carry those water jugs on |
