| Abstract |
We examined two patients with carotid-cavernous fistulae who presented with painful ophthalmoplegia syndromes. Neither patient had conjunctival arterialization, chemosis, or exophthalmos. This unusual presentation of carotid-cavernous fistula is discussed in light of the anatomy of cavernous sinus venous drainage. |
