Abstract |
Four patients with idiopathic pseudotumor cerebri were treated with Diamox, 1000 mg/day orally in divided dosages. Photographically documented resolution of papilledema was noted to begin after an average treatment period of 40 days and was complete in three patients by 91 days. The efficacy of Diamox in the treatment of papilledema resulting from pseudotumor cerebri has not been previously documented by fundus photographs. |
