Washington has asked me to call you together and. see what you think about leasing some portions of your-grazing ground to white men. A3 you all know, we had;- ... talked this thing over before, and I sent your opinion to Washington; but Mr. Murdook and Dick Wanroads and Ed Murdock were in Washington, and perhaps they told the Office that there were large portions of the grazing ground which you. did not need and could not use, and so the Office thought maybe these parts could be leased with advantage- to you. You see when they got my message that you did not wish to lease the gracing ground and then if Dick Wanrodes told.;/.
