Show COLLEGIATE LIFE <br><br> GET BUSY, GIRLS! <br> With spring coming on the girls will have a chance to show their appreciation of the weather by getting up a bsketball [sic] team. There is plenty of good material-enough to get up class teams, anyway. The girls, of course, are hampered by never having had a basketball team before, but there is nothing like starting a good ball rolling. <br> Then there is a possibility for a tennis tournament. Tennis is said to conduce more to gracefulness than any other game which is popular. As all of us are graceful, we ought to be able to put the ball over the net in fine style. <br> The boys have done most of the work in the school, this year. Now the girls have a chance to show their mettle. Although it is the truth, the girls ought to resent such statements by showing the boys that they can "stick" together without the assistance of sticking plaster. The trouble is that the girls don't seem to realize that they are the majority in the school and the majority rules, generally. We seem to be the exception. <br><br> |
