Show Words fail to express the beautiful service of the present Board of Directors, many of whom have been closely identified with the arduous duties and offices of the Executive Board for many years. Membership now means much time and labor given on many important committees, and untiring effort in the conduct of the business of the Board. Too much cannot be said in appreciation of these faithful friends, and while the personnel has changed in the years, the names that look out from the page of the Directorate we greet with all honor and loving appreciation, as faithful and loyal ever. And what of the name that heads the list,-our beloved Plonorary President, Mrs. John Knox McLean? How few organizations can come to a Jubilee with a name that has been on its list of officers for the entire fifty years! Her faithfulness, her loyalty, her interest, have always been ours, her quiet words of faith in many a dark hour have carried us through to greater and greater achievement. Blessed is she among women, and blessed indeed is the Board of the Pacific, that it has had, and has, the name of I\Irs. Sarah McLean on its lists. All honor to our Honorary President! THE JUBILEE CAMPAIGN Before the Campaign of the Jubilee, came the Vision of the Jubilee. It was born in the hearts of Miss Henrietta Brewer and Jilrs. Ernest A. Evans, where it shone with a power that quickened to life activities of heart and mind of those about them. Their confident faith and steadfast purpose defined the far goals and laid the broad plans for this fiftieth year of rejoicing. Mysterious has always seemed the necessary withdrawal by ^trs. Evans and Miss Brewer from, their high offlces and active work on the Board, soon after the Jubilee plans were inaugurated. Their initial inspiration, however, and sustained interest and generous gifts continued throughout the entire campaign, a heartening encouragement and substantial support to all efforts for reaching the go^l.
