Show Our Jubilee Missionaries ALMA COOKE, M. D . , is a daughter of California and a graduate of its University; since 1920 she has been in charge of the hospital at Lint-sing, China. MAUD M. MCGWIGAN, R. N . , was born in Ohio, trained in the Burlington Hospital, served under N. E. R. in Turkey, and was stationed at Lintsing, China in 1922. ALICE E . GWINN, A. B., was born in Nebraska, educated in the University of Washington, and Kennedy School of Missions and went to Kyoto, Japan in 1922. She will teach in the Doshisha Jo Gakko, Kyoto. EDITH SANDERSON, A. B., was born and educated in California, specializing in physical education at University of California. Since her graduation she has served as secretary for the Y. W. C. A., and the Student Volunteer Movement. Her destination is Brousa, Turkey, after one year in Constantinople, 1923. RUTH ANDREWS, A. B., R. N., was born in India where she was partially educated, received her degree from Occidental College and her training in the Pasadena Hospital and goes in 1923 to the Hospital at Wai, India. JULIA M. WAGNER, A. B., was born in Mexico, educated at Pomona College and returns, as a teacher to Mazatlan, Mexico, after a year at Guadalajara language school 1923. |
