Practically all of the pictures brought by him were taken in Cataract canyon, and they were the only ones brought because he had no more R. 1458. In taking pictures he did not attempt to take the more unusual places of the river, they being pictures to represent the survey line. He did not take pictures of the Green River because they were not surveying there. The line was not surveyed down the Green River because his understanding was, the road was to be run from Grand Junction down the Grand River. The photographs from Complainants Exhibit No. 192 on, are practically all in Cataract Canyon. R1459. Other pictures taken by him in Glen Canyon and from North wash down were either lost or spoiled, |
