He •cf be about 12 years older than ... me ... :N o-.JJ I ft. He~ been about 30 years old. And - he kind <f took over. And kind of lookedout for us, you know. And1 well1 thekids - his nephews used to come every summer and we - T~u and I used to play with him-all - I mean,~ were justin and out all be time. They'd come over our place and theyd eat and we'd go over there. And we were playing with themall the time. He kindof looked out for us. And so when bey confiscated the stuff, you know. We had to take the short wave-radios and we had to give all of our guns out, over. Andso - ~M We didn't have too many guns [laughs] ~ n ~ 3M We only had two.~He said, bring them down to my place. So we'd just ,, give them to him. And he says, if youwant to use them, justlet tl me know and we'll go get them.Butthere'sa curfew too at that time; That we had to ~ay within ten miles of the areas. 20 miles. Within the radius. And so -he kind of took over - ah - looked after us. And - so - between them, they went and asked themt to sign to sell - you know, to .sign this petition. |
