Show LK MK LK MK LK MK LK MK LK MK LK MK ment. I guess in '34, the first year I was a sophomore, junior and secnior year I think I was, I guess it waw the JACL tournament, I guess it was known in those days. We brought a team down from Idaho, in the early years in Idaho Falls they brought a team down here. To the JACL basketball tournament. Who, at that time you came down here, who were the well known Japanese? Here in Utah? In Utah. Oh, I could name a lot of them. You mean Niseis? Niseis or Isseis. Well, Isseis I don't know too much about. Who had you been familiar with in terms of a name? Well, let me start with, let me start with Ogden. These are all Niseis. Chikamoto brothers, both Charlie and Jiro. Charlie was a 44deucer. I'll be contacting him to be one of our board of directors eventually. Jiro, J-i-r-o. One of the Chikamoto brothers. They were both basketball players but the best basketball player was Sadao Tachihachi. He no longer resides in ... Sadao? Sadao, yeah. S-a-d-a-o? Yeah. 123 |
