And my wife was excellent cook and so we started sponsoring suppers up there as a building fund and that•s how we started. S Wait. S tthe Mormon church wanted to build a new-- FN Yes. A new ward. Our old building was really getting dilapidated and the need was for a new one. And a good friend of nine who runs a furniture store down in Tremonton, lived up in that war, and we were tal~ing one day and I said, what do you think about an Oriental supper. He said, gee, fuat would really be good. So anyway, we had one in our home inviting about I guess we invited about 20 couples. It was practical for us to put one on. And v!e did. And everybody was really raving about the quality of the cooking that lJf wife did. So anyway, we said, all right, if we can get the ward to help. We 1 ll teach you hovJ to cook. W.Y ·= n then v1e 1 11 put one on. We 11 , this was fine. We taught them how to cut the vegetables. How to cut the meat. All of these things. But when it comes to seasonssing, if fell on my wife•s shoulders. Wel,l the old church, the church, you know, theold ones and every time we•d start doi .ng things, we were going to blow all the fuses out. And everything goes in the dark. So the church house is here. Therewas a home here across the street and a home across here. Across the street. had the wholenight running like this, all night long, ':JO·~~. 1 I keeping everything~.
