Description He was an artist hijnself. He would sketch and paint for his own enjoyment and show his personal work only to his friends. The paintings in his studio each had a story about them and he not only knew the story, but also the background of the painter. He liked antiques that had meaning and value, of which he had many. a picnic, a fishing trip, or a trip to Lake Powell were all to his liking. He was so appreciative for things done for hirn. He was not only grateful at the time but always followed up LaVar's friendship and teachings have really made life more worthwhile among all who knew him and the chain Born in Ephraim, laughl for many years in New York City, coming home in Ihe summers to enrich our valley.
