H AVING confined ourfelves wholly, in the fecond part of this Elf.1y, to the confideration of the commerce, we Jlull now proceed to the confideration of the jlavery that is founded upon it. As this flavery will be confpicuous in the treatment, which the unfortunate Africans uniformly undergo, when they are put into the hands of the receivers, we !hall defcribe the manner in which they are accufl:omed to be ufed from this period.
