Show Part C - Historic Sites Site No: 42M054 Describe: There were no landscape or constructed features observed at this site. *15. Buildings and Structures (locate on site map): # Material Type # Material Type ~C~o~n~ cr~e~te~_________ ~B~ri~dg~e~______________ Describe: Site 42M054, a historic bridge that carries SR-66 over the Weber River, is described as a medium-scale steel bridge comprised of a single 70-ft steel stringer span, suppored by concrete abutments, Concrete guardrails are vaguely Gothic-profile slotted cutouts . Sidewalks are present on both sides of the bridge with no barrier between the sidewalks and the roadway. The concrete decking of the bridge has been repeatedly surfaced with asphalt as continued road maintenance. The bridge retains its architectural integrity, except for the concrete decking, with few modifications. Exposed edges of the sidewalk concrete on the west side of the bridge are visibly deteriorating, showing the rebar inside. 16. A search of Morgan County buildings and structures was also performed . Government Land Office survey plats were also consulted for years 1871, 1895, 1953. The Utah Historic Bridge Inventorv was consulted and as-built drawings were obtained from the Utah Department of Transportation.
