The bridge is comprised of a single 70-foot steel stringer span, supported by concrete abutments. The sole architectural feature of the bridge is the concrete guardrails with vaguely Gothic-profile slotted cutouts. The Weber River Bridge dates to 1937. In December of that year Utah State Road Commission engineers delineated the plans for this structure, designating it Federal Aid Project 145-B. Soon thereafter, the road commission let a contract to LA Young Construction Company for the construction of the bridge and its approaches,. Completed by Young in 1938 for a cost of$20,526.90, the concrete-decked structure has functioned in place since, with no significant alterations.
