Abstract "In this chapter we consider several tumors that may produce neuro-ophthalmologic symptoms and signs that do not specifically arise from intradural neural tissue. These tumors include chordomas and other tumors arising from bone or cartilage, nasopharyngeal carcinomas, tumors of the parana-sal sinuses, cylindromas (adenoid cystic carcinoma), squamous and basal cell carcinomas of the skin of the face, pheochromocytomas, paragangliomas of the head and neck, malignant melanomas, and metastatic tumors."
