Father sold my cow to Erastus Snow for an order for a cow at Toquerville, as I could not take my cow with me" Stopped 0 at Titlling yard over night Feb 3rd Thursday" Took leave of father, when he proceeded home & I hitched up & drove in connection with the Farmington teams with Lot Smith as my Captain to Draper (one mile out of the way) 18 miles and camped for the night Feb 4th Friday.. Left Draper about 8:30 am" & drove through Lehi & American Fork to within one mile of Pleasant Grove and camped for the night, had plenty of hay here, 18 miles" Feb 5th Saturdayo Started at daylight & drove through Pleasant Grove to Provo, 12 miles, my company went ahead & stopped here & got a yoke shod for $5 00 & proceeded to Spring'" ville where I overtook the rest of the company and camped over at night in Tithing Yard, 6 mileso "Feb 6th Sunday" Left Springville about 9 a.m, and passed through Spanish Fork 6 miles, then through Salina & Payson, 6 miles then to Santequin 6 miles where we arrived about 8 p"mQ and was taken by the people there to their houses & our oxen fed" .. .. |
