Show • The cleaning of the brick chimney on the south bay should be accomplished with the gentlest means possible. (From the photos, it appears the brick is relatively modern and is likely more durable than many examples of historic brick.) • Although not specified on the drawings or in the application, we assume all interior walls and ceilings and at least the new siding on the garage will be painted. Unless a rather exuberant exterior paint scheme is planned, we do not need to review paint colors or patterns. These concerns are listed for your consideration. No additional submittals are needed at this time unless it appears that we have misinterpreted any aspect of the project~ Please note that this is a preliminary determination that the proposed rehabilitation appears to meet the Standards. Formal certification is issued only after the rehabilitation is completed and the Part 3 application submitted. If the project is executed as described in the application and drawings (along with any approved amendments, should the scope of work change), this certification is assured.
