The state tax credit law requires that all proposed or on-going work must be approved by our office as meeting the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation before the project is completed. Also, a minimum of $10,000 must be spent on the rehabilitation over a maximum period of 36 months. There is no fee to apply for this tax credit. We hope the state historic preservation tax credit can make this rehabilitation project more economically feasible. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can be of further assistance with your re-roofing and other rehab plans. You can reach me at 801/5333562 or at cshepher@email.state.ut.us Sincerely, ~~ Charles M.
