Show With Love... into law the mandatory education bill guaranteeing an education for all handicapped. Today there is a national Education-Por- All law for the handicapped thanks to dedicated people who helped an imperfect system to work. At the Legislative Luncheon in October 1971, attended by 200 representatives of the city, county, state and federal governments, Katie Dolan thanked them for their help in passing the law. Then she said, "Many ask how in a time of no money, we were able to bring out an education bill. We did it simply with love and homemade bread." # # # # # # # |
