Show So the day was f i l l e d with music. When the shadows were long he rounded up the goats, watered them and drove then home. Kleeka'3 mother smiled as she s t i r r e d the mutton stew in the big black pot while he sang his new song. t^forning came and a breakfast of dried peaches and goal's milk and Kleeka was ready to take his herd to the spring. His mother t i e d a red band around his head to keep the hair out of his eyes. He looked gay as he set out with his j a r . His mother handed him a sack with dried meat and bread in i t . Sha put her hand on h i s slim throat again, "Here i s your fLute, my son. There i s a Cicada along the c l i f f s . Bring home a new song," she said giving him a gentle push to s t a r t him on his way. The way was far but he did not stop, so anxious was he to water the willow. As before, he f i l l e d the j a r , pouring the water over the willow, he said loudly, "Grow willow, Growp' Looking up he saw a boy with hi3 sheep heading toward the spring. He was also carrying a j a r. Kleeka's heart pounded with trouble. He beat the goat's legs to hurry them to water and s e t them to graze on the dry stubble.
