American Rivers Conservation Council Needs Your Help The American Rivers Conservation Council (ARCC) is the only national conservation organization dedicated exclusively to saving our nation's rivers from destruction. We serve as the eyes and ears of people around the country to watchdog the Congress and federal agencies, to lobby on river issues, and to supply citizens with timely political advice as well as general information on river preservation. We don't pay big salaries or have plush offices. All your contributions go into action. We greatly appreciate supporting contributions of $25 and want to ask that you help us raise funds. As a public interest organization, our funds come from our members and friends. If you might be able to give us a large contribution please consider the possibility. Also, if you know anyone who is interested in river preservation please pass this information on to them or send us their name and address. A membership in ARCC costs just $10. For this, you receive a quarterly newsletter crammed with useful information about rivers as well as action alerts when crucial legislation affecting rivers is pending.
