Show Dorothv Harvey In order for me to remain in Utah and continue pressing for some viable and acceptable resolution of this water supply issue, I am in need of supplemental funding. In August, 1977, I raised funds from friends and relatives sufficient to enable me to stay in Utah and v;ork on wilderness and wildlife issues in the State as well as on the C.U.P. These funds have been consumed. My Qualifications Are: 1971 Field Study, roadless area, Ruby Hts., Nevada, Humboldt, National Forest, for wilderness study purposes, Sierra Club volunteer 19 7 2 Field Study Leader, roadless area west of ~. Fork Salmon River, Idaho, Payette National Forest, for wilderness study purposes, Sierra Club volunteer 1973-1974 Field Study, entire summer, roadless areas, on Wasatch and Ashley National Forests surrounding High Uinta Primitive Area, for wilderness study purposes, Sierra Club first summer, self interest following summer Winters following summer field work spent in preparation of reports 19 7 5 Field study of phosphate ore mining developments in southeast Idaho, with emphasis on impacts on wildlife resources on and around Caribou National Forest Winter spent in preparation of a report sent to major media sources 19 7 6 Field study of proposed oil shale development in northeast Utah with emphasis on impacts on wildlife resources on Oil Shale Area, on White River, on Book Cliffs, and periphery impact areas such as Brown's Park. Report was basis for article for High Country News. 1977 Six weeks establishing contacts with agency staff people in Montana, Idaho, and in Oregon, and 'Wyoming, working on wildlife management in National Forests. Attended Forest Service training session for employees on vegetative types in forests; Idaho Symposium on phosphate ore mining development, and future of Idaho.
