Show offers an opportunity for the economic salvation of cur Commonwealth and it represents an inspiring example of the truism that, " What the mind of man can conceive, the hand cf man can accomplish." The following resolution was adopted by those present: WHEREAS, the project involving creation of a fresh water lake from a portion of Great Salt Lake is one of obvious merit, and should receive unqualified support of all citizens of the State cf Utah, and WHEREAS, it will conduce to the immediate development of Utah's agriculture in all its phases, mining and manufacturing and the employment cf labor, Now Therefore, the sense cf this meeting is that by some means it must be accomplished as soon as may be. Now Therefore, and to that end be it resolved that the Chairman shall appoint a committee of ten- two from Weber County, two from Davis County, two from Box Elder County, two from Tooele County, and two from Salt Lake County to consult all possibly interested governing bodies of various political subdivisions of the State and having done so and having fully investigated the project referred to to make recommendation to the Governor as to the ways and means of its speedy realization. The Chair ( A. B. Young) has announced the appointment of the following committee by virtue of the above resolution:- Milton H.
