Sweazey, <br> Salt Lake City, Ut., <br><br> Dear Sir: -- <br><br> As Mr. Murphy is spending the week in the canyon, he asked me to see Mrs. Hyde (?) as soon as your letter was rec'd, which I have done, and she wishes me to ask you if you can hold the place for her till Monday - that she may hear from Mr. Cannon, and make some other arrangements. She could gladly have put them both with you and is sorry now that she did not as all her Presbyterian friends have been expressing their regrets, but she has paid five months in advance, made choice because the daughter had been led to prefer it.
