There is a Mrs. Hyde living here at present and working for her sister in Milliner business. She will likely figure in the Snuot case this coming winter as her husband married a plural wife without her knowledge since the Manifesto and she is now (after two years) about willing to take her stand against Mormonism & family. She has a class in St. Mary's Academy & by some means learned of the Collegiate Institute for boys. She has a boy 16 years of age and wishes to place him in the Institute under your care. He would be in preporotory [sic] department. She is earning her own way & looking after a class in Cal. beside the one in St. Marys Academy S.L.C. & this son here. She has just the 3. She does not know whether she would be able to pay the sons way but thinks if he could earn part she could raise part of the necessary means. She says she and Frank J. Cannon of Tribune are personal friends & her boy is learning printers trade & she feels sure her friends will try and assist her. <br> [Continues on next page.] <br><br>
