Show Christ, when a boy came in with word that Miss Paden wanted him. And so our visit was broken off, but what I had had made me hopeful that he had being going wrong and only needed help to turn from it. <br><br> Mrs. Snyder and I think that the boys may be suspicious because of my visit yesterday and may suspect Bertha of having told some of their doings. So they may be more quiet for a while. <br><br> There was one plain instance I did not think to mention. John Sullivan, a 16 year old boy who was then staying with me went to Salt Lake Sat. eve. the last day of The Fair. He fell in with Bernard, who took him off to the theatre. <br><br> Mr. Sweazey, if you wish to get evidence, Rev. Mr. Andrews, the young man who in the summer had the lodging house on main 5 or 6 doors north of 3rd south. <br> [Continues on next page.] <br><br> |
