Reherd <br> Westminster College <br> Salt Lake City, 5 Utah. <br><br> Dear Dr Reherd, <br> When our Cousin, Mr. Schuyler Voorhees of Amsterdam New York Sate came again last week and packed the box of manuscripts for you, he said he had in his attic some Mormon papers about which an old friend of his was preparing to write but died before he was able to do so. <br> I suggested the papers be sent to you. In this letter to Herbert Reherd, Miss Elizabeth L. Jackson writes that her cousin, Mr. Schuyler Voorhees, had packed a box of manuscripts for Mr. Reherd. She also notes Mr. Voorhees has in his possession some papers pertaining to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and that he would fetch them to send to Mr. Reherd as well. Herbert Reherd served as president of Westminster College of Salt Lake City, Utah, from 1913-1939, and was granted permission by the college's Board of Trustees to write the history of the college. In a previous letter, he had asked Miss Jackson for any materials that would aid him in his work. |
