C. <br><br> Dear Miss Jackson: <br><br> As you perhaps know the Board of Trustees of Westminster College has authorized me to write the history of the college for the 75 years since its founding as a mission school (the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute) in 1875. <br><br> While I am familiar with the history of the past 37 years since I became President, I need a good deal of help on the years from 1875 to 1913. <br><br> If you have any material covering any of those years, such as catalogues, programs, newspaper clippings, letters, photographs, etc. which you would be willing to give to the college to be preserved in its vault or loan to me for historical purposes I should be glad to have them and will return anything you wish to keep personally. <br><br> Yours cordially, <br> H.
