Show 16 <br> THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> CONGREGATIONAL <br> The fiftieth anniversary of the church at Southbury, Conn., was observed Jan. 29th. <br> The twenty-sixth annual meeting of the Congregational Club of Boston and vicinity was held Jan. 28. <br> Rev. Joseph Cook is again giving his Monday lectures before Boston audiences. This is the twentieth year Mr. Cook has delivered his lectures. <br> Atlantic: For more than a quarter of a century Dr. E. S. Hill has been pastor. Sixty-eight persons were received into membership last year, the next gain being forty. <br> The Plymouth Congregational church of Oshkosh, Wis., has just completed a fine new church edifice. The exterior is, in style, the modern Romanesque; and the details and the lines of the auditorium room are in the Byzantine style. <br> Broadway Tabernacle, New York: The benevolent offerings last year were $30,200, an increase of $500 over the preceding year. In addition about $20,000 have been raised for expenses |
