Show 9 <br> THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> Territorial S. S. Association, <br> More Sunday schools in our territory, more scholars in our schools. Why not? Hard times alone deter us from recommending the employment of a field superintendent or missionary whose business it would be to visit all the Sunday schools of the Territory, attend the county conventions and assist in the organization of new schools where now they are so much needed. We believe that everything possible should be done to extend the power and influence of the Sunday school. The financial condition of our association does not admit of putting such a field secretary into this work at the present time, who could give all of his time and energy to the organization of Sunday school work. What then can be done? Let the house to house visitation be energetically carried on all through the territory; let volunteers offer their time and services in the different counties where they live to organize new schools and bring the ch |
