Show THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br> 11 <br><br> ILIFF M. E. <br> We regret to learn that Sister Anderson is quite unwell. Sister Atwell is not improving as much as we could wish. But Sister Brobeck is gaining rapidly. Let us pray earnestly for their recovery and for all needed grace and comfort. <br> About twenty boys met at the church Saturday night to organize a company of Epworth Guards, and while the pledge prohibits the use of tobacco and all intoxicating liquors, all profane or other bad language, and provides for the joining of the Epworth or Junior League and the prompt obedience of officers and the culture of all the features of Christian manliness, not a boy wavered from these strict requirements. Now we earnestly request the parents to co-operate with us in aiding these young men to keep their pledge and become all that its spirit implies. Without your hearty active aid many of the boys will doubtless fail, but with your aid and the help of God we trust that they all may be able |
